Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active Goes Global: Price, Battery Life and Colors Confirmed

Rumors have a way of dragging on, and this one’s been running since May. Xiaomi’s next fitness tracker first showed up at regulatory filing offices earlier this year, then got fully leaked in photos by tipsters Roland Quandt and WinFuture a couple of months later. Third-party retailers in Europe even started selling it early last week. Now, according to a report by Notebookcheck, Xiaomi has made it official: the Smart Band 11 Active is launching globally.

The band comes in three finishes, Black, Grey, and a Pomelo Pink option that stands out from Xiaomi’s usual muted palette. All three share the same 1.47-inch display inside a small 43.5 x 25.8 x 10.2 mm case, and the whole thing weighs just 18 grams without a strap.

One thing worth flagging for anyone expecting a repeat of last year’s model: this isn’t an AMOLED upgrade. Xiaomi has gone with a TFT panel instead, running at 172 x 320 pixels and 247 PPI. That’s a step down from the AMOLED screen on the Smart Band 10, which suggests Xiaomi trimmed display cost to hit a lower price point rather than chasing a spec bump.

Battery Life Is the Selling Point

Battery life is where the Smart Band 11 Active is clearly meant to stand out. Xiaomi rates it for up to 21 days under light use. Push it harder — always-on heart rate tracking every minute, sleep monitoring, twice-daily blood oxygen checks, stress tracking, notifications, and 90 minutes of workout tracking a week — and that figure drops to a still-respectable 8 days on the 300mAh battery.

The tracker also carries 5 ATM water resistance, though Xiaomi is explicit that it isn’t meant for diving, saunas, or hot showers — a distinction worth noting since 5 ATM ratings sometimes get treated as swim-anywhere clearance when they’re really not built for sustained heat or pressure.

On the software side, it packs 50 fitness modes, works across both Android and iOS, and uses a PPG sensor to track heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, stress, and women’s health metrics — a fairly complete feature set for a device clearly aimed at the budget end of the market.

Pricing Still a Bit of a Moving Target

So far, official pricing has only surfaced in Poland, where the Smart Band 11 Active costs PLN 139, or roughly $38, across all three colors. Quandt and WinFuture have separately reported a Eurozone price of around €40 (about $45), which lines up closely with the Polish figure once currency conversion is factored in. A firm global release date and pricing for other regions haven’t been confirmed yet.

What’s notable here isn’t really the hardware itself — budget fitness bands with long battery life aren’t new territory for Xiaomi. It’s more that the company keeps iterating on the same basic formula (cut the AMOLED screen, keep the battery huge, keep the price under $50) and it keeps working well enough to justify another generation. For buyers who don’t care about a bright always-on display and just want a tracker that survives a couple of weeks between charges, that trade-off is probably an easy one to make.
