Xiaomi has laid out exactly when HyperOS 4 will reach the rest of its device lineup, and the rollout is a marathon, not a sprint. According to a rollout timeline reported by XimiTime, the update will spread across smartphones, tablets, TVs, wearables, and smart speakers in phases running from this October through January 2027.
That’s roughly four months to cover a lineup that spans several generations of hardware, so where a given device sits in the queue depends heavily on how recent it is.
First In Line: Brand-New Flagships
The rollout opens in October, timed to Xiaomi’s newest hardware launches. Devices like the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, Xiaomi 17, the MIX Flip 2, and the REDMI K90 series get HyperOS 4 straight out of the box on launch day — no waiting required.
By the end of October, the update expands to the previous generation, including the Xiaomi 16 series, REDMI K80 Pro and Turbo 4 models, plus the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra and a batch of 2025 smart TVs.
November Brings the Popular Mid-Tier Flagships Into the Fold
This is where things get interesting for a lot of existing owners. By November 15, HyperOS 4 reaches the widely-used Xiaomi 15 and 14 Ultra series, along with the MIX Fold 4, several REDMI K80 and K70 variants, and a wide range of Pad 7-series tablets.
A second November wave, landing by the 30th, picks up the MIX Flip, Civi 5 Pro, REDMI K70 Pro, and the newer REDMI Note 15 phones, alongside more Pad and TV models.
December Is the Big One
December is when Xiaomi clears out most of its remaining catalogue. The Xiaomi 13 series — now two generations behind the newest flagships — finally gets the update, alongside the Xiaomi 14 Pro, MIX Fold 3, and a long list of REDMI Note 13 and 14 phones. Budget-focused REDMI 13 and 14 models round out this wave, along with the Xiaomi Watch S4 and S3, marking the first wearables on the list.
If you count, this single month covers more individual device models than the first two months combined—a sign of how much of Xiaomi’s back catalogue is still active in the wild.
January 2027: Closing Out the Smart Home
The final phase, arriving in January 2027, shifts focus away from phones entirely. It’s aimed at rounding out Xiaomi’s smart home ecosystem — older TV models like the TV S Series 2024, plus smart speakers and displays including the Xiaomi Sound Pro, Xiaoai Speaker line, and the Smart Home Display 6/10.
Why the Staggered Rollout Matters
Phased software rollouts like this aren’t unique to Xiaomi — most major Android manufacturers push updates in waves rather than all at once. It lets the company catch device-specific bugs on a smaller pool of users before pushing to millions of phones, and it prevents server overload from everyone downloading gigabytes of firmware simultaneously. The tradeoff is that owners of slightly older devices can end up waiting months longer than someone who just bought a flagship.
Worth noting: this schedule, as published, doesn’t include any POCO-branded devices or the Xiaomi 15T series, both of which are popular in several international markets. Whether that’s a case of those models following on a separate regional timeline or simply an omission from this particular list hasn’t been clarified.
